We have shaded, semi shaded and open lots with a variety of vegetation including live oaks, palms, mesquite, hackberry and an assortment of tropical fruit trees depending on the site you choose. The lots are "Texas Sized" and accommodate a variety of units including mobile homes, park models, BIG RIGS and tenters. All are welcome. During the high season from October to May, the resort is an adult community catering Winter Texans from across the North American Continent. AmeriCana is located in a semi-rural setting with city conveniences within a few miles. We have year round activities and recently added a modern club complex with a designer kitchen and new pool and spa. Less than two miles down Bentsen Palm Drive is The World Birding Center, The Butterfly Park, and Bentsen Rio Grande State Park.
