Set on 50 acres, just a short drive east of Akron, Ohio, Cherokee Park offers a peaceful setting with wooded and open space surrounding two small tree-lined lakes and an activities area. Enjoy the beauty of nature and the calming effect of a campfire. You might even spot an occasional deer during your stay. Cherokee Park offers 120 campsites with 30 amp electric and water hookups. Choose a sunny, open RV site or one that is shaded by trees. Pull-thru sites are available for todays larger RVs.
Pets are welcome so long as they are leashed and attended. We offer a few family tent sites during the summer for a limited stay. Cherokee Parks excellent service begins when you pull into our campground. You may choose to have a personal escort to your campsite. We have something for everyone in your family. Relax by the pool during the day and catch up with friends and family by the fire at night. We offer a quiet country setting, but still close to many area attractions. We offer tent and RV camping. You may choose to stay a night or a week. Seasonal sites upon request. All of our RV sites are full hook-up. Tent camping is primitive. All the sites have picnic tables and fire rings. We also have lake access to the beautiful Mogadore Reservoir. You can fish the reservoir by shore or rent a canoe or row boat. Are you a nature lover? Great hiking along part of the Buckeye Trail awaits you. We also have a heated in-ground pool that is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. We have hot showers and modern restrooms. Firewood and ice are available. We have propane exchange on 30lb and 20lb tanks. We offer planned activities on the weekends, playground, game room, and hayrides.
