From Jct US 221 and NC 113, go North on 113 for 4 miles, then West (Left) 1/2 mile on South Fork Church Road, then West (Left) 2 miles on Kings Creek Road. From Jct US 221 and NC 88 and NC 16, go 5 miles North (1 mile past Shatley Springs) (Right) South Overpass Ramp, to Old 16, then North (Right) 1 mile to Chestnut Hill Road (Right), then 2 miles to George McMillan Road (Left), then 1.5 miles to the New River (Right), cross bridge. Open: April 15 - Nov 1. 38 acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains, between the New River State Parks. Sites: Some along the South Fork New River, bathhouse, picnic gazebo and shelter.
