Lanzs Motel, Cottages and Trailer Park, located directly on the St. Lawrence River, is dedicated to making your stay in the Thousand Islands a memory you can share with family and friends for years to come.
Lanzs is open from May 1 through late October.We have twenty motel units and sixteen one, two, and three bedroom cottages. Busses are always welcome. We also have a full hook-up trailer park, boat launch and dockage. For your enjoyment there is an inground swimming pool and a sandy beach available. We also provide a picnic area with barbeque grills at the riverfront that offers a panoramic view of the St. Lawrence River.
The St. Lawrence River boasts many activities. Nearby are museums, beautiful golf courses, a go kart track, basketball and tennis courts. Narrated Boat Tours of the Thousand Islands and a stop over at the historic Boldt Castle on Heart Island or the newly opened Singer Castle on Dark Island is a must for any visitor of the area. A trip across the Thousand Islands International Bridge into Canada is sure to bring pleasure to your vacation. Local marinas have boats (leisure or fishing craft) and wave runners available to rent or you are welcome to bring your own watercraft or boat. Dont forget your water skiis! And for the diving enthusiast, some of the best scuba diving in the world exists in the St. Lawrence River.

Merry Knoll is set near the Village of Clayton, just a short seven miles to the 1000 Islands International Bridge. Were centrally located - only 12 miles from Alexandria Bay and 10 miles from Cape Vincent. Clayton is a quaint village in the 1000 Islands Region with many interesting shops and wonderful restaurants. No matter what your interest, Clayton and the surrounding communities offer a full schedule of activities throughout the season.
While at the park, we offer a campstore for those last minute items and various amenities to keep the young and young at heart occupied and entertained.
There is a swimming pool, playground and a game room. The fishing enthusiasts will find the fishing pier a perfect place to drop a line, or for those more "active", we rent 14 aluminum boats and motors for fishing. For those who would like to run the river in bigger boats, we have a special program for boat rentals thru Clayton Marina. Please check with us before renting elsewhere.
