Hi there, campers! The names Mallard Waddell and I am here to introduce you to Prospect Lake Park.
Located in the scenic Berkshires region of Massachusetts, Prospect Lake is a destination that appeals to campers of all species. I first discovered this park on my way north after spending the winter "down south." Id gotten separated from my duck friends on the return trip, but it turned out to be a lucky break. The Palmatier family, the campground hosts, were kind enough to take me in once I landed on the pristine water of Prospect Lake. I was treated so well, in fact, I bought my own RV so that I could make the campground a regular stop during my annual migrations!
Open from the first weekend in May through October 15, Prospect Lake Park is set along 2000 feet of wooded lake shore and offers 140 shaded or sunny campsites plus fine cabin accommodations for those that dont have (or arent traveling) with their own RV or tent.
