Highland Orchards is a full featured family resort park located on the site of one of Connecticuts first farms - some 250 years ago. The park is owned and managed today by a camping family who have converted a large part of its 85 acres into a friendly place to stop overnight or to spend a vacation.
The prevailing breeze is fresh, clean and ocean-cooled, with a westerly view of rolling wooded hills and magnificent sunsets. Most sites are "drive-thrus", allowing for the easiest of parking, with additional areas offering everything from secluded tent sites to a three-acre field for groups.
Throughout the park, Highland Orchards unique character among campgrounds is set by such classic New England imagery as century-old maples, stone walls, and reproduction colonial architecture.
