Logan Landing is a full service RV Resort and Campground that is spread across 135 lush acres along Logan Martin Lake in the Appalachian foothills. I discovered this park while exploring the nearly 100,000 acres of lake waters in this glorious region in my sailboat, Logans Lady. Now, maybe I was taken with the name of the lake, or maybe it was the gorgeous scenery and excellent fishing that caught my eye, but its the quality facilities and features of Logan Landing RV Resort that brings this ol sailor back as regular as the tide.
Now, Im known to bait a hook now and again, so the fishin at Logan Landing is definitely a big draw for me. Logan Martin Lake is 15,263 acres of sparkling reservoir water that comes courtesy of the nearby Neely Henry Dam. If youre an angler like me, youll spend a lot of time out there reeling in the plump largemouth and spotted bass which run from 14 to 21 inches (thats among the best sizes in the state, folks!). The stock of 10 to 12 inch crappie is at its best in the early spring and fall. Striped, white and hybrid bass fishing is best in the spring through summer. Be sure to check out the lakes cold-water springs for some great catches!
