We are a family run, private campground/RV Park situated on the shore of Black Bay on Black Lake , New York . Black Lake is famous for its Top Ranked Fishing. Widely known for excellent crappie, northern pike, walleye and bass fishing. Early spring is best for bullhead fishing and big catfish can be caught all year long. The Saint Lawrence River (one of the worlds most beautiful rivers) is just a short drive away. The Canadian capitol city of Ottawa lies about an hour to the north and we are just minutes from all attractions of the beautiful 1,000 Islands region and Alexandria Bay .

McLears Cottage Colony is a small family owned operation located on Black Lake in St. Lawrence County in northern New York. The first cottage was built in the early 20s. From then till now, it has and will always be our hope to establish a personal first-name relationship with our guests. We strive to leave you with pleasant memories of a wonderful vacation.
