Phone: 1-888-237-8642, 603-323-8536 I first came upon this charming campground a few years ago when I headed south looking for a little time away from the "antler jams" (for those that dont know, Northern New Hampshire is overrun with moose and the trail traffic is a real headache). I knew Id found my perfect vacation destination when I rambled into Chocorua Camping Village. This truly is the Greatest Camping in the World! Open from May 1 to October 15, Chocorua Camping Village encompasses nearly 200 acres along the shores of Moores Pond and the Chocorua River. Guests enjoy carefully preserved wooded campsites in an unspoiled environment. The resort emphasizes providing clean, attractive facilities and spacious, private sites. Nestled in the foothills of the White Mountains, the location is a blend of the grandeur of the mountains, where hiking trails abound, and the splendor of natural lakes and ponds, where fishing, canoeing and sailing offer an escape from the hustle-bustle of everyday life. PhotoLooking northward, you will see Mount Chocorua, the most beautiful peak in the Sandwich Mountain Range. Offering excellent hiking and spectacular views, the mountain has a history shrouded in mystery and legend. Camping necessities and special Chocorua souvenirs can be found at the Camp Store. Looking for something new to read? The trading library has plenty of books and magazines to peruse. I keep my overalls looking their best with a stop at the laundromat. Let me tell you, a nice hot shower in one of the campgrounds sparkling clean comfort stations beats wading into the river on those cold mornings! I invite you to follow me through this online tour of Chocorua Camping Village and learn more about the great activities, attractions and MUCH more!
