Bemidji Minnesota, 56601
Phone: 218-335-6773 "While Joe?s Lodge started in 1924 as a fishing camp, it doesn?t end there! There is nothing to compare to the uniqueness of a northern Minnesota resort experience! At the resort, we offer sandy shoreline for swimming and other water activities, paddle boats, funbugs and kayak for your use. There is a small playground, tennis court with basketball hoops, horseshoes, a gameroom with video games, pool table, piano, and juke box, satellite tv and movies in the lodge for those rainy, kicking back days. Evenings around the campfire are always a hit. Our 40 acres include hiking trails that extend into the national forest land for the hiker amongst us, the birding group, and the nature lover. Arrange with us for a canoe trip down the river or a pontoon trip out onto Star Island, where you can enjoy Lake Windigo, a lake within a lake. Adventure out and enjoy the quaint shops of Walker or the diverseness in our nearby regional center and college town of Bemidji, walk across the Mississippi?s beginning at Lake Itasca, enjoy an animal park or a water slide, golf our many courses, learn about the culture of the Leech Lake Band of Ojibway in Cass Lake, or take your chances at the casino. The list is endless! Hunting is second nature here and plentiful. Winter finds a quiet, peaceful setting to enjoy the crisp, cool days for snowmobiling the hundreds of miles of trails, cross country or downhill skiing, ice fishing, and viewing the stars and northern lights. Bemidji Minnesota, 56601
Phone: 218-335-2092, 877-860-9948 "Situated behind the main resort, up a gentle hill, you will find our 8 full hook-up sites (#1 - #8) just waiting for your enjoyment. With picnic tables and fire rings in each site and the full facility shower/restroom/laundry just a quick walk away, convenience is available for your camping pleasure. Shower & Laundry House If a little more primitive and a lot more private is your pleasure, than you will find one of the remaining 5 sites to your liking. Just down on the back side of the hill is site #9. It offers water and electric in the site with fire ring and picnic table. Further down the hill you will find our primitive sites #10 - #12. These have fire rings only! Water is available from a spout between sites #9 and #10. We do not recommend our sites for motor homes over 35 feet and 5th wheelers over 30 feet. All of our sites are back-in sites only! Fire wood is available by the bundle at the lodge for a nominal fee or you can collect whatever you can find in the surrounding woods. Further back behind the primitive sites you will find our nature trail where you can enjoy a pleasant walk through the woods. "
