We invite you to make Rivers End your home base for exploring it all. Whether youre retired and living in your RV full timer, a young family with your first pop up, our goal is to make your stay a pleasant one. Were just 3 short blocks to the beach and an easy 15 mile drive to historic downtown Savannah. Were a small family oriented park with approximately 100 sites that include full hook-ups with sewer & free cable, water and electric only and primitive tent sites. Some, but not all water electric sites also have free cable. We offer a free internet room during office hours and free WI-FI for those who enjoy net surfing in their RV or at their picnic table. Rivers End is open all year. If you visit during the summer, youll enjoy our large pool and new screened pavilion. You can ride your bike around the island and enjoy the slow pace and quaint beach cottages. Cast your shrimp nets in the river or go crabbing in the marsh. Sun and swim at the beach as you listen to the sound of seagulls and children playing in the gentle surf. Tired and hungry after all of that? Visit one of the fine restaurants on our island and sample local seafood. Before the day ends, go back to your campsite and visit with your "neighbors" over a cool drink as the moon shines down on ancient oaks. Like cooler weather? As locals will tell you, the best time for exploring the beach is in the late fall, winter and spring before the summer crowds. If you visit in the winter, bring your friends and join us for pot lucks and card games in our cozy "River Room" with its Savannah Gray Brick fireplace, TV, and piano.
